Forbidden wasn’t in Pansy vocabulary so she would visit the forbidden forest more often than the adventurous first year or the trouble makers at the school. Of course no one could really beat the golden trio at least when she entered no one ever found out. Her reasons were no one would think of looking for her there and to overcome the fear of her nightmares that lingered in her dreams. She knew that her nightmare Fenrir Greyback was on her side but her brain didn’t seem to think so. Often she would dream about being in this forest running from the beast she could never seen but always seem to almost catching her.
It had been troubling the young Slyhtherin for a couple of days so she decided to skip dinner and sneak out as the rest of the student body walked down the hallways. She pulled her robes closer to herself like it would make her become invisible to the eyes of the Professor, knowing it wouldn’t help but Pansy made it without anyone seeing.
The cold night air brush against Pansy face making her smile a bit. She loved the night life now everything seems to be calm but the danger was filled with danger all around. Pansy slowly made her way down the path that lead of the edge of the Forbidden Forest it seem like a short walk but it took longer since she walked slow. The dark hair girl took a deep breath before only taking small step into the forest.

Quidditch practise had finished later than Jason had planned; in fact he had thought he would be in the great hall by now, feasting on a simple meal of sausages, mashed potatoes and gravy with a butter bear on the side. But now he found himself in the changing room, bidding farewell to his fellow players as they left one by one whilst he finished getting changed and packing the equipment away. Little was left to lock away, simply the protective gauntlets used by all players and the beaters bats used for directing the bludgers. He opened the store room door and placed the bats near the box containing the various balls needed for quidditch, it rattled unstably for a second as the bludgers flailed about inside. He then placed the gauntlets on a hook on the opposite wall before shutting and locking the door.
He turned back to his duffel bag, a small olive green bag made out of rugged nylon with a blue eagle on it, which contained his neatly packed quidditch robes. He zipped up the bag quickly and swung it over his shoulder. Before leaving the changing rooms, he grabbed his broomstick which was propped up against the wall next to the door frame. He flicked his wand at the various lanterns lit inside the room, they were quickly extinguished with a swift movement of his wrist. He was now on the path leading back to the main entrance with little light to aid him. He reached around his back and pulled out his wand which had been snugly slotted down the back of his jeans. "Lumos." He muttered as the tip of his wand glowed white hot, lighting the path ahead of him. His smirked to himself but strained slightly, as he was now carrying both his broomstick and his bag in one hand. He stopped to slot his broomstick through the handles of the bag, this made it all much easier to carry.
Before he set off again he froze. A dark outline of a person was making its way towards the forbidden forest. Jason flicked his wand downwards and the intensity of the light dropped, but it was still providing him with some light which he could use to light his path. He chose to follow the person, cautiously making his way towards the edge of the forbidden forest. When he reached the first few trees that resembled the start of the forbidden forest he had lost sight of the person he was following. He flicked his wand upwards increasing its intensity as he navigated the various tree roots at his feet. He didn't have to walk too far to find him again. He stopped by a large barren oak tree, standing on top of one of its large roots as he greeted the person from behind; "Hello?" Calmly, he lowered his wand slightly, showing he had no hostile intent.

Pansy would have never thought she was being followed; she made sure the darkness covered her. If she noticed that a boy had caught sight of her that she would have stopped before even going near the edge of the forest. At least that way she could lie but how would she explain being so close to the edge of the forest. Her mind went wild as she took a step into the forest now no one could see her by the trees covered her. Pansy really didn’t go far into the forest as it scared the hell out of her, she was wondering now that maybe it was a bad choice it wasn’t like she was going to come face to face with the werewolf.
Pansy slid her wand out from her pocket to light up of the forest it wasn’t much but at least now she could see. Her blue eyes scanned the forest for any sign of anything and thankfully she didn’t until there was a crackling sounds coming from behind her. Within seconds her mind went racing though what could have made that sounds. But she took a deep breath and tried reassuring herself it had to be a Professor or a noisy student with her luck it could be Draco. The thought of Draco following her down here gave her lots of possibilities to what he could do with her.
The noise was getting louder meaning it was getting close to Pansy stopped walking with her wand close by in case the thing was any danger. It was footsteps that she was hearing light footsteps so most likely it was indeed a Professor she had hoped it was Professor Snape at least than she would have a chance. She took a deep breath to turn and face it but was surprised to see another student. Pansy was pissed because she knew this boy wasn’t a Slytherin nor was he Draco. “Bloody hell who are you?” She snapped not moving her wand.

Jason chuckled slightly as he lowered his wand, not quite expecting the 'warm' welcome he had gotten from his fellow student but never the less he adapted to the situation at hand. The young woman was obviously tense and on edge for some unknown reason and he wasn't in a hurry to end up stunned on the forest floor, he had homework to finish! He casually shrugged his left shoulder, the shoulder that carried his bag and broomstick. This action pushed the bag further up his arm, preventing it from falling off more but the simple action helped him to clear his mind slightly.
He took a slow step forward, lowering his wand even further until it was at his side, still illuminating light from his lumos charm but nothing bright enough to blind anyone. His wand cast an eerie glow onto the ground on which he was standing, creating a spotlight effect centred on him. He took a moment to examine the young woman a bit more. By her height she was defiantly in sixth or seventh year, her deep blue eyes were fixed upon him, not daring to move, fearful of Jason attacking or fleeing, neither of which he was planning to do.
He stopped his approach and settled himself a good distance away from her as he moved his right hand out slightly, away from his side, an action he hoped would symbolise that he wasn't going to harm her. He let his arm fall back to his side in a lazy fashion, he was tired after quidditch practise, and right now he'd wished he'd stuck with the team as they went for dinner. He then spoke up, in a sarcastic tone; "Well, because you asked so politely." He began, lowering the degree of sarcasm in his voice, attempting to start a basic conversation with the woman; "Jason Forge, Ravenclaw." He declared in a confident tone, only adding his house into the sentence to show he was simply a student, just like her.

Just because the boy had lowered his wand didn’t mean that Pansy was going to do the same, she didn’t know what he was capable of or if his friends were lurking in the shadows. He the boy shrugged she had notice that he was not only had a wand but a bag and broomstick. So Pansy slowly lowered her wand but kept it close to her side in case he did try to pull something. The last thing she wanted was to be caught by surprise and get hexed it wouldn’t look good on her if some guy got the better of her. But she could always make his life worse after that was usually her plan, making people life hell.
Ugh he was a Ravenclaw but at least he wasn’t in Gryffindor because she would have just hexed him and went on her merry way. If Pansy loved to make anyone’s life miserable it would have to be the Gryffindors but since he wasn’t Pansy would just let him be unless he did something to upset her. Her eyes rolled and replied with her own name, “Pansy Parkinson.” Mostly everyone at the school knew who Pansy was and if they didn’t then soon they would. Usually her name tied in with Draco because she always hanged around him following the boy ever he went. "What are you doing out here?" She asked simply.

Jason nodded his head as the girl spoke; listening to what she had to say when in truth he was already planning his getaway. Even without knowing her name Jason knew she was trouble. Her face could always be seen behind Draco Malfoy’s shoulder, always close by to chat or to flirt. It wasn't hard to miss the group of slytherins if they passed by in a corridor. Pansy Parkinson? The name was familiar but Jason hadn't personally met her, but today seemed to be his lucky day.
Then the simple question of asking him to explain his presence rose up and Jason held his tong. He had to be careful in what he said. In truth he was following her because he made the assumption that she was a spy, death eater or worse. His suspicion and curiosity were all that had brought him here. But he couldn't exactly start talking about death eaters and spies with Pansy, could he? She spent so much time around some self proclaimed death eaters she was obviously sympathetic to their cause, heck, she might even be one herself. "I saw a cloaked figure heading from the castle out into the forest on my way back from practise." He began, indicating to his broom as he talked. "Even you have to admit that’s slightly suspicious, from my point of view." He finished, simply telling the truth in order to better understand her intentions. How she reacted to this would determine his next move.
