Narcissa and Bellatrix usually took it in turns to host the parties, it was supposed to be Narcissa's turn but Rodolphus had volunteered them to host it this time, much to Bella's displeasure. That had been easy for him to say as he wasn't even going to be here for the party, he had conveniently got a mission for the dark lord on the exact same day. She would get her own back on that husband of hers, he knew she wasn't a fan of hosting parties. She didn't have the attention span to plan them all out, she soon got bored.
"Watch what your doing with that." She snapped at a house elf who carried an ancient looking vase. "Break that and I'll hang you from the chandelier by your ears!" She wasn't kidding either. She smoothed the fabric of her dark green dress with one hand as she twirled her wand in her other hand. "Demetria! Damian will you two get a move on." Her son and daughter took forever to get ready which was another reason why she hated formal occasions.
She tapped her foot on the floor, guests would start to arrive before either of them two were ready. Well you know what they said 'the show must go on.'

Standing just outside the door, Draco's heart seemed to pump three times as hard as usual. He could hear it drumming, almost wanting to get out. Parties were nothing new to him, of course. Sometimes his mother would host them, and sometimes his aunt would. And each time, he was always invited. There were no exceptions. It was almost like a family tradition, although he was at a loss to explain how or why this tradition had come to take place.
What was an exception, however, was coming alone. His parents were out doing something they refused to explain. It was probably a mission from the Dark Lord, but Draco still thought it was suspicious. They had dropped him off early before leaving, thus the reason why he was standing at the doorstep half an hour early. He was wearing dress robes with green and silver brimming and a neat green bow-tie. He had even slicked his hair back for this.
A gust of wind blew and Draco shivered. If twas time to get a move on. He couldn't stand outside forever. He lifted his fist and knocked three times, imagining that he could hear the sound echoing into the large manor.

Damian wanted nothing more than to avoid the party, because it was his mother's party he had to go, if it had been his aunt Narcissa's party he would still have to go, the point was he always had to go and he just found them boring. He rolled his eyes when he heared his mother yell, well better not keep her waiting, would only have to suffer her wrath later. He straightened the collar of his dress robes before heading out of his room.
"Come on Dems." He banged on her bedroom door. "Can't make yourself much prettier." He laughed as he headed down stairs, "Don't freak mum, I'm ready.... Demi however might take a while." He said with a grin, avoiding a hit to the back of the head from Bellatrix. He headed for the door since the useless house elf would take forever to answer it. He wasn't expecting to see his cousin standing there, Draco was usually late to make an entrance, not half an hour early. "Your early cous.... you'll have mum freaking out. Not that she isn't already." He saiid as he left the door open for Draco to come in.

Demetria was as usual late. She was finishing off doing her hair when she heard her mother yell up the stairs, She rolled her eyes. Demetria didn't rush, she would be late for her own funeral, given the chance. She glanced at herself in the mirror, she had to admit she was very vain. Her reflection looking back at her, she teased the loose curls in her long dark hair, trying to arrange her hair so that it covered the mark on her neck where some filthy halfblood and grabbed hold of her and tried to get her to tell him what the dark lord had done with his children, he had left quite the mark. Why she had bothered to curl her hair she didn't know because she knew full well that they would start to fall out so she would be left with just a few pathetic waves in her hair with the occasional flick. It was that long that it was hard to do anything with her hair apart from leave it down or tie it up in a loose bobble.
She sighed as she put her black and green high heeled shoes on, they went perfectly with her strap less black dress. She knew her father wouldn't approve of her dress, he would say it showed far too much flesh. But she wasn't going to change the way she was for anyone, and if damian tried to make her wear his cloak again then she was going to tell him exactly where to go.
"No need to try to break my door down." She snapped as Damian banged on her door, She was hoping that Paris and Mala was going to show up, there was only so long she could put up with her brother bragging about something without her best friends there. Grabbing her wand from the dressing table it was only then that she realized there was no where for her to put her wand, granted she knew she wouldn't need it in her own home but she didn't like that feeling of knowing she didn't have her wand on her. She muttered a spell on the small pocket of her dress, making it expandable. Slipping her wand in her pocket she smiled as she glanced in the mirror, you couldn't even tell that dress she was wearing had a pocket never mind that she was carrying her wand in it.
Heading down stairs she jumped off the last few steps, why was everyone in this family so impatient? "Damian it took you longer to make sure every single hair was in place than what it took me to get ready." She said with a smile. "Hello Draco..." She wasn't happy that Uncle Lucius and Aunt Narcissa had managed to get away with no attending, but saying that if it wasn't her mum's party then Demetria would have found some excuse not to go.

Malayna climbed out of the carriage making sure she didn't wrinkle her gown she smiled at the driver then was ushered to the door by her father while her mother stood behind her since her sister was only a first year she'd stayed home with the nanny, Mr Anderson raised his hand to knock on the door as he let go of his daughter's arm taking his wife's hand into his The Anderson's had been friends with the Blacks for a long time, well they were always invited to parties such as this one so it was only natural that they arrived in style. While waiting to enter the black house Malayna's heart raced because other then when she was younger she'd never seen Damian outside of Hogwarts unless it was some place in town so she was rather nervous.

Sure enough, after quite a short while of silence, the door opened to reveal Damian. Draco hoped for the 412th time that he looked okay. It would be stupid if everyone else turned up in lavishly decorated robes. But luckily Damian didn't seem too overdressed either. "Better early than late, I suppose," he smirked. Ironic coming from him, who was almost always late. At least this time he had his parents to blame. Whatever business they were attending to better be important. Then again, wasn't half an hour a little too early?
At Demetria's greeting, he nodded back. "Hey, Demi." His eyes flickered from her face to her clothes, and Draco smirked. "You sure made an attempt to dress yourself up tonight." Although he had to admit that she didn't look that bad. Walking in, he admired the decorations Bellatrix had set up, and to the lengths of how much she had prepared. No wonder she was freaking out.[/blockquote]

"Still half an hour early." He said simply though he guessed it had something to do the Lucius and Narcissa, He had still yet to find out what they were doing the dark lord that they got out of going to the party, he only wanted to know because he wished he had thought of it first. As soon as he let Draco in the door went again, well since he was near the door anyway he might as well answer it. He smiled when he saw Malayna, "Nice to see you tonight Mala." He nodded to her parents "Mr Anderson, Mrs Anderson... My mother will be glad you were able to attend." He said as he bowed his head slightly. He had been brought up with manners, he just liked to annoy his sister. He stepped to one side as he let them in. He showed Malayna's parents to where his mother was bound to be stressing.
He rolled his eyes when Demetria came down the stairs. "Your asking for trouble Dems." He said looking at the clothes that she was wearing. She seemed determined to wind him up, she knew that he didn't like her dressing like that. She was his sister and he didn't like other guys thinking of her like that and that dress didn't exactly leave much to the imagination. "If I have to curse some guy for looking at you in the wrong way then don't blame me."

Party, Yay. was all Eric could think as he and his father apperated by the lestrange home. Eric just stood there in his nice black suit. His father, Barty however was wearing his usual, a t-shirt with a suit coat over it and a pair of not so nice pants and trainers. Come on now Eric. Arent you good friends with Demetria? Barty had asked Eric looking at him. “yeah, I am not one for parties, dad.” Eric muttered. His father only laughed. The two walked up to the door and Barty knocked. They waited patiently for the door to open. oh come on! Lighten up. Parties with us are fun. I will let you get drunk if you like. Barty tried to bribe Eric into a better mood. “not a chance. Besides, you are really really crazy.” I am not. Barty replied looking at him funny. “absolutely nutters.” Eric smiled. He loved goofing off with his dad. That was the only good part about him. Barty had then nudged Eric a bit, and Eric just smiled. He then full blown pushed Barty and he fell into the bushes as the door opened. "Dad out of the bushes. we are at a party. Act mature." Eric laughed.

Malayna sat down in the parlor while her parents talked to Mrs Lestrange her hands were folded neatly in her lap, she wondered where Mr Lestrange was but she didn't worry about it yo much when she saw her best friend come downstairs she just had to smile alot cause well she knew Demi always looked good in no matter what she wore to the parties. Her heart was still racing, she hoped there wasn't any dancing cause while she loved dancing normally she knew how crazy her parents could get after a few glasses of wine so she hoped they didn't drink to much, she bit her lip when she looked outside rolling her eyes then shaking her head as she sat back down. She knew something about Eric no one else did, that's only because she caught sight of him snogging with Lesley Lupin while on her way back from one of her classes then again it was none of her business she just knew it was against slytherin rules to date outside the house it's self. (what Malayna is wearing.) (Clicky)

A party at the Lestrange house was going to be very interesting one with all of Pansy, Slytherin friends and her death eater friends and even some people that just didn’t like her. She had no idea what she was going to wear for that evening in her closet sat a rack full of different dresses that her mother had gotten her just last week. Pansy was good at getting what she wanted well usually sometimes she would have to work harder to get it but in the case of the dresses it was simple.
‘Mother I need a dress for the party.’ So her mother bought her more than one dress. After a half-hour of looking she finally found the dress that looked amazing on her it was a black strapless dress with lace around the top and the bottom. She had almost managed to find her favourite black and purple high heels and her purse lying on the floor beside the closet door to finish off the look she grabbed heart pendant necklace. Pansy hair was up in a nice simple pony tail after the long hours of getting ready Pansy was ready to leave for the Lestrange party.
There was a small pop coming from the house which Pansy was standing at she gave a little shake hating the feeling of apperated. She dust off her dress and gave a light tap at the door she had hope if anyone would answer the door it would be Draco himself. She had wondered who had already arrived to the house before her, oblivous the Lestrange children would be here Pansy just hope that Draco and a few of her closest friends would be here or she might just have a fit.

Shrugging off the last comment from Damian, Draco seated himself comfortably on one of the many chairs that had been placed around the room. He wasn't one to standing around awkwardly, and he had known the Lestranges for years. As Eric and Mala entered, he nodded and smiled slightly. No stupid Potter or any Gryffindors to come and ruin the fun tonight.
As someone tapped on the door, Draco debated getting it or not. Damian seemed busy, and Demetria was always occupied with one thing or another. Mentally sighing, he sauntered towards the door and pulled it open, to find none other than Pansy Parkinson. "Pansy!" he greeted, slightly surprised. But then he was being stupid. Of course all his Slytherin friends were going to be invited. "You look wonderful," he smirked, moving aside so she could come in.

"You sure made an attempt to dress yourself up tonight."
Demi rolled her eyes at her cousin's comments, "Well you never know which guys are going to show to these parties." She said with a smile. "I like to make a lasting impression." Typical Demi, she had guys on the brain, so she didn't want a boyfriend - didn't mean she didn't want some company to keep her warm at night, she liked to keep her options open. She wasn't going to be tied down to one guy and she definitely wasn't going to become a guy's property, some guys trophy girlfriend, that wasn't going to happen to her she was independent - one of a kind.
"Your asking for trouble Dems."
"I'm not changing for anyone Damian. Told you, your just going to have to get used to it." She said with a smile "And I'm a big girl, I'm more than capable of looking after myself." yes she knew her brother was only looking out for her, but the over protective brother act was really getting annoying. She went over to Malayna "Come on Mala, its a party.... smile." She couldn't say that she was all pleased about the the fact that her friend liked her twin brother but she also knew that there was nothing she could do about it, Damian may interfere with her love life but she wasn't going to butt into his.... yet anyway. "Hey Eric..." She smiled. "Mr. Crouch, my mum is.... around here somewhere." She said looking round trying to spot her mother but couldn't "She'll be glad to see you."
Demi looked up to see Draoc letting Pansy in, She smiled "Draco stop gawking and let the girl in.... your tongues about to touch the floor." She smirked, she liked to embarrass her cousin. It was all playful fun.

Pansy waited she could hear the faint footsteps of someone coming to the door; she did her last quick check up. Grabbing her small mirror from her black M&M (Magic & Materials) she looked at her hair giving it a fix quick and a bit of lipstick touch up. Just as she placed the mirror back into her purse the door open and she looked up just in time to see her favourite Slytherin of all Draco Malfoy. “Draco!” She replied with a bright smile.
“It is so good to see you again.” Pansy walked inside the house when Draco moved she couldn’t but help to comment on how Draco looked this evening. “You look absolutely dashing.” As she said that Pansy placed her hand on his shoulder and gave him a smile than walked to where the rest of the people were. Pansy looked over at Demi and gave her a greeting smile she really didn’t mind if Draco gawked at her, he could look at her all day if he wanted to.

”you are a bastard.” Barty said to Eric as he got out of the bushes. Eric only smiled to him and Barty pinched him. ”just like me.” “jeez.” Eric said rubbing his arm where Barty had pinched him. The two were such children. Eric wondered how he could stand living with the guy.
Eric had walked inside and smiled to Demi. “yes please, go find Mrs. Lestrange.” Eric looked over to his dad, who had dirt on his pants from falling into the bushes. He only shook his head and headed in and stood by Demi. He watched his father leave and he was glad Barty didn’t find anything embarrassing to say about Eric or anything embarrassing about himself. Eric shrugged and looked at the group. Everyone seemed to be occupied talking with one other person so he just stood there.

"Mum do I really have to go to this party?... Its really not me." Isabella Lestrange was not a party person, she would rather avoid them and she was definitely not a dress wearing kind of girl she would rather wear trousers, jeans... anything that she felt comfortable in. She looked at herself in the mirror, Her mother had got her a black dress and as she knew that Demi would be a strapless dress so her mother had got her a one strap dress, The fabric draped over her left shoulder. She folded her arms across her chest, this party was going to be unbearable. Just what she wanted, to listen to her family and friends go on about how much they hated muggleborns and how much better they were than them. "Issy, of course you have to go to the party. Its your aunt and uncles party. Besides Demi and Damian will be there. You get along with them." Her mother went on completely oblivious to her daughter's insecurity's. "Show my face then I can go right?" She was not staying all night and there was no way she was playing babysitter to her younger sister all night either. She rolled her eyes as Coryn grabbed hold of her arm, it was annoying having to take her along with side apparation. They arrived with a pop outside the old manor. "Coryn you can let go now." She said pulling her arm out of her sister's grasp. She knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer, she folded her arms across her chest and glanced down at her high heeled shoes. She was starting to regret letting her mother talk her into wearing. She should have put her foot down and stuck with flats.
