Lesley had sat in the common room reading a potions book. She also had parchment around her and other text books. Lesley sighed as she looked into the fire to think a bit. Lesley wore her Gryffindor uniform and really didn’t feel like changing. The only piece of the uniform she wasn’t wearing was the long black robe. Lesley started reading some more, when students started flooding in. she sighed as she put all her things in her bag and walked out of the common room.
Lesley wanted some where quiet to go, some where no one else would be and it hit her like a rock. When she was always looking for a place to go, she used to go by the whomping willow tree. She smiled and made her way out there. When she had gotten there, she sat down far away, but not to far. She pulled out the potions book and she started reading again. She sat cross legged and had the book on her lap. She heard a noise behind her, and she ignored it. Lesley sighed and continued to read.

Draco didn't know when the habit had started. All he knew was that at the start of the year, he had been prone to be wandering off on his own, seeking the most secluded places. There, he would sit down, look around and fall into thought. And realize later that he had missed out on a piece of Transfiguration homework. That was too bad.
Step by step, Draco suddenly found himself at none other than the infamous tree - the Whomping Willow. It was known to attack you if you walked to close. Not having actually tried it out, he took a few steps closer, stepped on a branch, and realized that there was already someone there. Judging from the uniform, it was a Gryffindor. As he came slightly closer, Draco realized that it wasn't any Gryffindor. It was none other than the half-Werewolf. He already hated Gryffindors and Werewolves, and mixed species was just...unthinkable.
Unmoving, Draco stood there with his hand in a pocket, clasped around his wand. It was a nice day and he didn't feel like arguing. But he smirked all the same. The naive girl was probably going to take a millennium to notice him. He could easily hex her now and get away with it. Should he? He pondered the idea for several seconds before deciding against it. No point getting in unneeded trouble.

Lesley sat there and she pulled open another book, her transfiguration book. Lesley pushed her curly blonde hair out of her face when she heard something behind her. She sighed and she then said turning around “if your going to try anything, like sneaking up on a person, I would try being a little more quiet.” Lesley looked at Draco.
Lesley turned again. She waited for a hex. She learned to just take it and ignore everyone. Lesley put the book down and leaned back on the palms of her hands. She looked at the tree that seemed to be calm, which was unusual. She put a few of her books into her bag, so she wouldn’t have to rush cleaning it all up later.

After a while, Draco got bored of standing there like an idiot and was ready to leave. That was until Lesley spoke. "Good idea, Lupin," he sneered, "Maybe I just will try something." Taking out his wand, he spun it around, pretended to mutter a spell and put it back into his pocket.
"I'd be careful if I were you, Lupin. There are quite a few people who wouldn't want a half-werewolf roaming this school." He paused, as though debating whether to say the next thing or not. He must have decided to, though, as the words came tumbling out. "Although you don't have to worry. You'll be kicked out when the Dark Lord takes over anyway."

Lesley turned around and she faced him still sitting down. She looked at him curiously. She watched him spin his wand and mutter something but nothing happened. She moved all her stuff in front of her and sat there. “so what was that supposed to do?”
“you think I don’t know that?” Lesley replied as she opened another book. “sooner the better. I hate being here anyway.” Lesley shrugged. She was only here for her aunts. She knew that they would have loved to teach her privately, but Lesley wanted to come here to make friends, which is what her aunts wanted in the first place.

“So what was that supposed to do?”
"I wonder," he hissed, having half the mind to hex her now. Demetria would be proud. But what Lesley said next was interesting. She would rather get killed/expelled than stay at Hogwarts? Not something the everyday Gryffindor would say. "So why don't you just hop back onto the train?" Draco sneered. That's what all Gryffindors, Mudbloods and Blood traitors should do.
He wondered why he was still standing there, talking. He should just hex her and get on with it. Well, if you want to get kicked out so much, he smirked mentally, pulling out his wand and muttering a real hex this time. " Impedimenta!" Draco snapped, pointing his wand. It was quite a simple spell, but he could take his time laughing at her later.[/blockquote]

Lesley only sat there. “you have a surprised look on your face. Not every day you heard a Gryffindor say that huh?” She looked at him with a serious face. She ignored his last question. Things were just too complicated and he wouldn’t understand.
Lesley was caught off guard. She got hit by the spell and fell backwards. She didn’t really care anymore, sure a few ribs hurt, but when have they havent hurt? She got up again, not pulling out her wand or anything. She walked back over to her books and he bag and she then thought to herself I come looking for quiet and this is what I get?

Oops. Draco immediately brushed the surprised look off and replaced it with a convincing sneer. He didn't like being ignored much. Must to his surprise, she didn't even bother dodging the spell. And here Gryffindors were supposed to be 'brave'. Of course, Draco never believed anything of that sort.
He could use the Cruciatus or Imperius curse on her now, and nobody would ever now. Debating his odds, Draco decided against it. Unforgivable spells weren't really his specialty. Besides, it was no fun if she didn't fight back or anything. Turning on his heels, he thrust his wand back into his pocket and walked towards the school again, having completely forgotten what he was thinking of doing when heading outside.
