It's 1976. For the Marauders, it means another year back at Hogwarts, but some changes have occurred - inside and outside the Wizarding school. Voldemort is making his message clear, and his army of Death Eaters is growing. It is evident that the war will soon turn ugly. The Ministry is struggling to keep control, but it is unknown whether or not Voldemort's spies have already infiltrated its walls. With the Death Eaters casting the Imperius Curse over many witches and wizards, no one can be trusted. It is unknown who is acting under his own free will, and who is bewitched.
Meanwhile, life goes on for students at Hogwarts. Lessons continue, friends are made, and new love blossoms. However, fear and worry cast a growing shadow over the school, and the looming threat of Voldemort is on everyone's mind. Many students and staff seek comfort in the reassuring words of Dumbledore, who does everything in his power to keep Hogwarts safe. But for how long?
