Well right now, Zahirah is getting to know her father after taking care of him when he was injured by Bellatrix. She is also going into her 7th year at Hogwarts with the threat of Voldemort still in the air. She is also starting to feel a little left out, with all of her friends finding boyfriends and girlfriends. She secretly wants to find someone.

History::
Zahirah Black was born to Sirius Black, a wizard and a Muggle named Josephine Rose. A few days after she was born, Voldemort was defeated by Harry Potter. Of course, she doesn't remember that. But it was also not too long after that when her father was arrested and sent to Azkaban for supposedly murdering Peter Pettigrew and surrounding muggles.
So, Josephine was left to take care of Zahirah by herself. The two got along very well and Zahirah grew up to be a happy child. They didn't have the best that money could buy, but Zahirah was always smart enough to ignore the teasing kids at school. Josephine never told Zahirah about her father, except that he had 'died'. Josephine tried to keep the Wizarding World from Zahirah, hoping that she'd live a normal life, even though Zahirah was anything but normal. Like most students, unexplainable things happened to her like vanishing and ending up on top of the lockers so bullies couldn't beat her up as well as making the sprinklers in the school go off when she cried.
Finally, when she was 10, Zahirah got her letter from Hogwarts. She was angry that her mother hadn't told her and went to Hogwarts despite Josephine's protests. She was accepted into Gryffindor and spent four years being relatively unnoticed, despite being slightly rebellious ways. She forgave her mother until the summer before she went into her fourth year when she got a visit from her birth father, the man she thought was a famous murderer, Sirius Black.
At first, she was extremely angry and didn't want nothing to do with either of them. Zahirah went the next school year completely ignoring any messages from them. She can be quite stubborn. That was also the year she had her first crush and heartbreak all rolled into one crappy year.
Zahirah met Cedric Diggory while bumping into him in the library. He was so sweet and cute and she just couldn't help but have feelings for him. They became really good friends that year. Zahirah would help Cedric with the Triwizard Tournament, and Cedric taught Zahirah how to play Quidditch. She almost got the nerves to ask Cedric to the Yule Ball when he told her that he was going with Cho Chang. Heartbroken, Zahirah ended up not going to the Yule Ball. Cedric dying in the last task hurt Zahirah even more.
That summer, Zahirah decided to get to know her father. She would visit him or he'd go visit her and they'd talk or hang out. He was still on the run from the Ministry, so they had to keep things a secret. Zahirah had a good year that year. She even joined Dumbledore's Army.
That was the year that everyone found out who Zahirah Black is. Although little did Zahirah know, Dumbledore had known all along, of course. When her father was injured during the Battle at the Ministry, it was quite obvious that Zahirah was Sirius' daughter when she called out "Dad!" out of panic.
Zahirah spent that next summer at her father's home, nursing him back to health. She forgave her mother once again but Sirius and her mother never got back together. So, that is basically where we leave off. If you need more, I'll change it.
Personality::
Zahirah is all around a really loyal and loving girl. Of course, she's mischievous, quirky, and has a slight temper. She hates being lied to and has a lot of pride in herself now that she no longer hides who she is. Some flaws would be that she isn't so easy to forgive and she sometimes comes off as cold or like she doesn't care. But deep down, she cares about everyone and has a heart of gold.
Likes:: Muggle rock music (3 Doors Down, Green Day, Nirvana, Ozzy Osbourne), Quidditch and flying on her broomstick, chinese food, converses, the color purple, animals, Buckbeak the Hippogriff, her mother and father, learning, laughing, sarcasm

Appearance
Description:: Zahirah is a very pretty girl. She has dark brown-almost black hair which she alternates between wavy and straight, depending on her mood. She normally wears it down or clipped back. She has what some would call a baby face, with rosey cheeks and pouty rosey pink lips. Her eyes are round and a very dark brown color, which are complimented by freakishly long eyelashes.
Her body is naturally thin, her height goes to about 5'4 inches while her weight is about 115. Her style consists of her school uniform, of course. But when she isn't in her uniform, she tends to wear jeans and band tshirts that no one in school has ever heard of. It gives her something to talk about besides her father. Her favorite items to wear are her black converses and a necklace with the Gryffindor shield on it that her father gave her before he left when she was born.

Zahirah sat on the Hogwarts Express, watching the rain drop down on her windows. She always liked rain. Except this wasn't the kind of rain that made flowers grow. This rain was just another sign that they were in dark times. Voldemort was in power and his followers were everywhere, perhaps more so than he had before. Zahirah counted her lucky stars that she had the people she loved most still alive. If anything happened to her mother and father...she wasn't sure how she would make it through.
She listened as the few students who had returned ran down the aisles, embracing their friends and telling each other about their summers. Of course, she had had her fair share of visitors, but she wanted to be alone right now. Zahirah had actually spent her summer couped up at Grimmauld Place with her mother and father. They weren't together and she knew they never would be, but he offered Grimmauld Place so he could protect them anyways.
This year, Zahirah was afraid of what might happen. She had heard that Dumbledore wasn't doing so well. She was glad that Professor McGonagal had taken over. She knew they'd be in safe hands with her in charge. Her thoughts came to a hault as the scarlet express stopped to let its students out for another year.
