"How about I agree to not do that in front of you and Damian?"
At first that didn't sound okay at all, but Draco realized that this was the best he was going to get. "Fine," he smiled slightly, shaking his head a fraction. Demetria was just like that, wild. She couldn't be tamed. He wondered if his mother had been like that at school, but then shook it off. The past didn't matter, only the present and the future.
"Oh come on you two this is our last year we should be doing something fun."
His apparent boredom and lack of interest must have shown again. "Something fun?" he repeated, mind whirling. "I'm not against torturing a few mudbloods, especially if it's Granger." Smirking, he turned to Malayna. "Forget about the past, Mala. It's the present that matters." Those were the words he had told himself just a few moments ago.[/blockquote]

''It's easier said then done Draco for you maybe it is but your not the one with an ex that broke your heart, then all of a sudden wants you back.'' Malayna said tossing her curls away from her shoulder as she sighed shaking her head maybe she was dwelling on the past but it'd only been three months since it happened, it seemed there was no way of letting her ex know that she was no longer interested short of sending him a picture of her with someone else which was an option but she didn't know who it was gonna be which is what really bothered her. She had a huge crush on Damien, Grabe and Goyle well they weren't her type never had been, never would be.

"Perfect." She said with a smile when Draco rather reluctantly agreed to her little deal. Demi was stubborn and there was no way he would have got a better deal than that. Demetria Lestrange was one of a kind, she wasn't going to be tamed, and there was no way she was going to tie herself down to just one guy, she wasn't going to become some guys property. "I'm always up for torturing a few mudbloods, Granger's fun to mess with." Granger was one of few that tried to stand up to them, it presented some kind of challenge.
"Well as I've always said the best way to get over a guy is to get under another one, preferably a hotter one." She said with a smirk. "Here's my philosophy on dating. It's important to have somebody that can make you laugh, somebody you can trust, somebody that, y'know, turns you on... And it's really, really important that these three people don't know each other." She laughed.

''It's easier said then done Draco for you maybe it is but your not the one with an ex that broke your heart, then all of a sudden wants you back.''
That struck deep. It's easier said than done. Everything was, wasn't it? They said killing was just raising a wand and reciting a spell, but really it was much more than that. Too much more. He closed his eyes, forgetting about the memories. The past didn't matter. The future mattered. "Maybe it wasn't an ex who broke my heart," he said quietly, almost hoping that Malayna couldn't hear. "But something else did."
At Demi's comment, the mood lifted at once. She had a way of doing that, even when there was absolutely nothing funny. "As much as I hate to admit it, that makes sense," he smirked. Draco had tried dating once, but that completely fell apart in his sixth year. They didn't break up; they just...drifted...away. "Demetria, now that you have nothing to do, why don't you do my homework for me?" he smiled, purposefully changing the subject and sliding the parchment over.

Demetria heard her cousin's comment, she was concerned but chose not to bring it up, If Draco wanted to talk about it he would but she wasn't going to drag it out of him. She had successfully lifted the mood and she wasn't going to let it drop back down again. She wanted to have a laugh not sit around in a sulk. "I always make sense, and I love it when you admit that I'm right." She liked to think that she was always right, she would never admit it if she was wrong about anything.
"Draco I'm not even doing my own homework, why would I want to do yours?" She asked sliding the parchment back over. "I could get someone else to do your homework for you if there was something in it for me." She said with a smile.

Malayna didn't have alot to say right now both of her house mates were right she could do alot better but at the same time other then Damien there wasn't a single boy in the Slytherin house she liked cause well shed was picky when it came to men mainly because she liked to be treated like a princess even if she was a vixen she wanted to someone's queen not their prized possession, that's all she'd been to her ex was a prize nothing more then that. So it was time for her to move on but she'd have to find somebody soon because her parents had been invited to the party being thrown by Bellatrix Lestrange, so had she her sister well she was invited to but she'd be off in the corner reading or something she also had to figure out what she was going to wear to the party but that was the least of her worries right now.

Draco hadn't really been expecting Demetria to even glance at his homework, and he was not surprised when it was immediately passed back. "No, forget it, Slughorn'll just have to deal with it," he smirked, rolling up the blank parchment and pocketing it. The days were so much nicer when Snape was teaching. But now he was dead and there was nothing to look forward to at Hogwarts anymore.
He leaned back, relaxing for the first time in ages. The room returned to it's normal silence. Draco liked silence. He liked it better when a mudblood was screaming for mercy, but silence was good too. The stillness of the preparation or aftermath of the battle. It was almost a lullaby lulling him to sleep. Not that he would sleep.

"Oh Slughorn doesn't like anyone who's a descendant from a death eater." Not that Demetria cared, she was good a potions, she could rival little miss goody goody granger. She might not care about her education anymore but least she was passing that class on pure talent. She lent back in the chair. Resting her feet on the chair in front of her. She didn't like silence, she became too restless in silence. She prefered the sounds of someone screaming in pain, she got a sick thrill from it.
"Come on Mala theres got to be at least one guy you've got your eye on." There were plenty of cute guys that would be way better than Mala's horrid ex. She tapped her nails on the table, "Where is that annoying twin of mine any way?"

'' If I told you who I liked you'd either laugh or something.'' Malayna said placing curls behind her ears as she sat there with her hands folded neatly as she let her thoughts wonder she no longer had interest in the book she was reading, for her that was strange because she was always getting good marks but right now she didn't care her interest in home work had disappeared the moment she closed that book. When She heard Demi ask where Damian was she shrugged then let her thoughts wonder once again to her 1st year at Hogwarts for some strange reason, a small smile crossed her lips when she heard the sorting hat say Slytherin although she often believed she belonged in another house the sorting hat knew better.
{sorry it's blah my muse is I don't know.}

Potions. Without Snape, the matter was hardly of importance. What did it matter when the Dark Lord was going to take over anyway? Everyone was just waiting for the inevitable. But it let the subject drop as their conversation slid back and forth, between the subjects of homework and love. Honestly, didn't Slytherins have better things to talk about these days?
''If I told you who I liked you'd either laugh or something.''
Would he laugh? Mulling it over, Draco decided that he probably would. That wouldn't stop him from wanting to know though. If it was Crabbe or Goyle, he would puke. "Tell us, Maya, and I'll decide whether or not to laugh afterwards," he snapped, a little annoyed. He was used to getting his way, and the smallest thing like this wasn't going to an exception.

She ran though a list of names in her head, she was trying to think of who Mala could possibly have a crush on, If it was Crabbe or Goyle then Demi would have to knock some sense into her best friend. No girl in their right mind would like either of them. No other guys sprang to mind, she couldn't say that she wouldn't laugh until she knew who Mala was talking about. "Mala just tell us, it can't be that bad..." yeah little did she know it was her own twin brother.
She tapped her nails on the table as she waited, she hated not knowing something. She didn't like being out of the loop. "Though if its grabbe or goyle, I will have to be sick then knock some sense into you."

'' It's Damian.'' Malayna whispered as she bit her lip trying her hardest not to throw up at the mention of Grabe or Goyle never in a million years would she think those boys were good looking, she waited for a response from Draco considering Damian Lestrange was the boy's cousin she just hoped Demetria wasn't mad at her. She also hoped Damian wasn't around cause well she didn't want him knowing due to the fact that she had no idea if he liked her back or if he just liked her as a friend, it seemed that the more she dwelled on her current situation with her ex wanting her back her thoughts always wondered toward Damian. To her he was her knight in shining armor while her ex was just an idiot in a jester's suite which always made her smile, it was always nothing more then a dream except it was always ruined by a nightmare of some sort every dream had to have a bad side to it.

Out of all the guys that had crossed her mind, she hadn't expected her to say that it was Damian. She looked at her friend's expression, trying to figure out if she was joking or being genuine, where there was no hint of Mala winding her up she started. "Damian!.... as in my brother, Damian?" She snapped causing the few younger slytherins that was in the common room with them turn around and look in her direction. She didn't know what to make of it, she could yell, she could kick and scream but knew that wouldn't make any difference what so ever. Damian didn't have long relationships - they lasted a hell of a lot longer than any of Demi's had but that wasn't the point. She knew what her brother was like and if they ever did get together and it ended badly what the hell was she supposed to do with a break up between her best friend and her brother? She couldn't rip herself in half now could she?
"Why Damian.... you know what he's like. Yes he's charming, I'll give him that but.... he's my brother." Any other guy she could have handled, hell she would have willingly set them up on a date, Demi was trying her very hardest to not be not be too mad about it all.

((OOC: So sorry for posting late...OTL)) There was a moment of silence. Draco blinked. Were his ears deceiving him? It was only when Demi spoke again that he laughed. "I suppose this isn't all a big joke?" he asked, voice shaking with suspended laughter. If it were, he would feel extremely stupid. Looking around, he wondered where Damian was. "I guess it's probably time to tell him then." Still smirking and feeling his mood lift, Draco was tempted to go find Damian now. "I agree with Demi," he said, when the laughter had finally faded. "Why Damian? I mean, there's plenty of other people to choose from..." His mind made a mental list, crossing off the names until finally there were only a few left. "Okay, maybe not, but still."[/blockquote]

'' Name one boy in this house that's cute, would wanna go out with a Pris like myself.'' Malayna said as she flipped her curls away from her shoulders with a sigh she waited patiently normally she wasn't all that prissy but she could be if she needed to be, lately she'd been acting more like a slytherin lately but then again she'd been acting more like a death eater as well because she'd lacked in showing emotion. For the last two years Malayna had been dealing with some drama her parents were fighting alot more then normal, she didn't let any emotion show because her main concern was getting her ex off her case plus the big battle was coming up. Not to mention she still had to find someone that could look after her little sister after she graduated so she was worried about others more then she was herself right now which was very unlike her because she could be selfish at times.
