Having being accepted as a Death Eater and branded with the Dark Mark, Draco reluctantly carried out the mission given to him by Voldemort by repairing the Vanishing cabinet and allowing Death Eaters to enter Hogwarts, as well as almost killing Albus Dumbledore.

History::
From the very first day that he was born on the 5th of June, 1980, Draco Malfoy had everything he wanted. Being the only child to Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, he was spoiled with incredible riches. Their family was Pureblooded and of Slytherin ancestry, so it was only natural that Draco inherited the utmost dislike for muggles and muggle-born wizards or witches.
Draco received his letter to Hogwarts on his 11th birthday, although Lucius originally wanted him to go to Durmstrang, a school for Pureblooded witches and wizards. Narcissa protested, though, as she thought it was too far from their home, and he was instead enlisted at Hogwarts. Draco was one of the first Hogwarts students to meet Harry Potter in Diagon Alley, although he did not know who he was then. They met a second time on the Hogwarts Express, where Harry refused his offer of friendship.
Being sorted into Slytherin upon arriving at Hogwarts, Draco had a disdainful view on Harry Potter - particularly as he had made friends with a Weasley and Mudblood. He himself gained followers such as Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle, and seemed to be the favorite pupil of the Potion's Master: Professor Snape.
In his next few years, Draco was a student like any other, although admittedly nastier. In his 5th year, a conflict in the Department of Mysteries in the Ministry of Magic sent his father to Azkaban. Furious, he blamed it on Harry Potter (who was the person he usually blamed it on anyway). It was only until his 6th year that Draco's dream came true, and Voldemort accepted him into his circle of Death Eaters.
However, he found at once that being a Death Eater wasn't that simple. He was given a mission to kill Albus Dumbledore. Draco decided to repair the Vanishing Cabinet in the Room of Requirement, which had a twin in Borgin and Burkes. Throughout the year, he tried twice to assassinate Dumbledore in crude ways, such as sending a cursed necklace and poisoning mead. In the end, Draco managed to repair the Vanishing Cabinet and disarm Dumbledore, although it was Snape who uttered the Killing Curse.
Personality::
There is no nice way to put Draco's personality. He is malicious, arrogant and proud of his status. As a Pureblood, he believes that Mudbloods and Half-breeds are vastly inferior, and will insult them at every given opportunity. Sneering seems to be his favorite expression. From his first day at Hogwarts, Draco had made it clear that he detested all Mudbloods and Blood-traitors. Sarcastic and spiteful, he will do incredible things to achieve power. And he uses this power to intimidate others and make himself rise taller, like the selfish brat he is.
Despite the outer unfriendly shell, there are things that Draco truly cares about. One of the biggest issues is his family. Although he can usually keep himself calm and controlled, he will flare right back if someone (usually Potter) insults his family. During his 6th year, he has also shown examples of compassion towards his friends/followers.
Although he is trying to hide it, Draco is pretty much quite the coward. He lacks bravery to stand up to Voldemort, and has been frightened by physical violence. To conceal this, he instead jeers and provokes anyone who is close to discovering this weakness. Despite being a sarcastic spoiled brat, Draco is talented and achieves fairly good results in school. Since becoming a Death Eater, he has also become deadly afraid of Lord Voldemort, and only reluctantly participates in the meetings and activities.

Appearance
Description:: As a child of 11, Draco had light blond hair slicked back and grey calculating eyes. He was pale and tall with a slender build. Now entering his 7th and final year at Hogwarts, he has become even more pale to the extent that he looks slightly ill. His eyes have lost their light and his features have developed to be more pointed.

Rasping sobs echoed through the abandoned bathroom. His shoulders shook as he bent over, staring into the depths of something only which he could see. Draco felt tears leak out of his eyes and slide, inch by inch, down his pale cheek. He made no attempt to wipe any away. Instead, he focused his willpower on ceasing the tears. He couldn't cry. Not him. Not Draco Malfoy. He was too proud to cry.
Perhaps it was a minute. Perhaps it was an hour. He no longer knew. But gradually his tears ceased. He tilted his head up to stare into the pale reflection. Dark shadows circled under his red-rimmed eyes. The traces of tears were still there. The mission given to him was impossible. Impossible for a 16 year old boy.
Draco gritted his teeth as he felt another wave of tears come on. Hurriedly, he bent down and turned on the tap, carelessly splashing cold water onto his face. He had tried twice now to kill Albus Dumbledore. Both had failed, although he admitted that they were desperate and crude attempts. I can't do it! I can't... Salty tears mixed with the fresh water once more.
Eventually, his shaking stopped. His eyes were clear and face perfect like before. Draco dried his face and hands, pushed the door open and walked out. Sneering at some First Years, he turned on his heels and headed towards the Slytherin Common Room, leaving the ghost of himself behind.
