The year of 1997 was an eventful one. The Wizarding World faced a Second War against the ever-powerful Lord Voldemort. Many had placed their faith in the Boy Who Lived, or the Chosen One--Harry Potter--and hoped he succeeded in triumphing over the Dark Lord. Months had passed while Harry was on his journey searching for the Horcruxes, and it ended at the Battle of Hogwarts. Harry had finally defeated the man who destroyed the lives of many out there and his own. But some had paid the price for the happy era--Remus Lupin, Mad-Eye Moody, Nymphadora Tonks, and many more. Now, an era of peace without worry was beginning...

Years after the defeat of the Lord Voldemort, some normalcy and safety returns to the Wizarding World. Harry Potter and his friends are all grown up with children of their own. Things have returned to the way they were before Voldemort had returned to power, though there are still some who worry about the rise of the Dark Arts. The Second War changed everybody's lives, and nothing could change the fact of all the deaths that occurred in the wake of it. But at least all was normal. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and others all work at the Ministry as Aurors or other types of Ministry jobs. Kingsley Shaklebolt became Minister of Magic in the 1998 election and has been ever since.
Life has been uneventful... Up until now...
The children of the last generation are now at Hogwarts, the eldest of them in their seventh and final year at Hogwarts. Love is in the air for all years, but strange things have been happening here, as well as in the outside world. Mysterious deaths and disappearances have been happening on and off campus, and the students are put on full safety alert. In the off-campus world, the same is happening, and the Ministry is questioning every possible suspect.
Peace is slowly diminishing. A new Darkness is on the rise, war is coming again... Will love conquer the Darkness, or will it spread? Only time can tell in this Dark Future...
