Pacing. That seemed to be the only thing that she found comfort in when her husband was away on a mission for the Dark Lord. He had been sent on a mission of utmost importance for their lord in Austria, the tracking, the torture and slaughter of one of the orders men. She knew her husband would of course be successfully, truly who could avoid his wrath? It had been the sort of thing that had attracted her to Rodolphus in the first place. There was no doubt the Lestranges were in the most dysfunctional and strange of relationships. They spent years apart, be it by Azkaban, be it months away on missions and yet they always somehow returned to one another’s arms regardless of whoever else may lay there. It was far more an affair then a marriage though there was no denying on both sides there was more heart involved then either was comfortable with.
Bellatrix let out a sigh and parted the curtains of the window ever so slightly to take a glance at the outside world. It was raining- her favorite weather. Though even her favorite weather couldn't put a smile on her face. Her husband was away and the Dark Lord was was away in France, Bellatrix didn't question the dark lord. They were told to only summon the Dark Lord if they got their hands on Potter.
She scowled and closed the curtain with a snap. Filling the room once again with darkness. As the days before Demi and Damian went back to school, bella became more and more agitated. Demeter had been been doing a good job of distracting her from worrying about Rodolphus, her son was never around the house, Demi stayed around she figured for more her benefit than her daughter's. Demeter knew that Bella would just take her frustration out on the furniture in the house.

Demeter was sat on her bed in her room, she flicked her wand lazyily, making robes go across the room and into her open trunk. One more year to go and she would be free of school and finally she will get to offically become a death eater. Her eyes fell on her copy of hogwarts: a history. Or at least thats what it looked like, it had the Hogwarts a history cover on in but really it was a potions book which contained some of the most deadliest poisions in it. She was planning on getting it into Hogwarts, try some of the potions on mudbloods. Her hand could accidently slip and some of the poison would go in one of their pumpkin juice. Of course she would much prefer to torture them and have her begging her to just finish them off, but it wasn't like she could get away with it at school.
She stood up off her bed and stretched slightly, having been sat still for so long she felt stiff. As she looked out the window she saw the rain, she liked the rain but last time Damian made it rain in the house just to annoy Demi, it ended up with both of them getting a lecture from their father. She rolled her eyes as she headed down stairs, she soon found her mother in the living room. She sat down on the chair arm of the couch. "Mom you look stressed.."

With plotting revenge against the Potter boy not working out for her, Bellatrix began to make her way around the living room. She looked at everything- the walls, the floors, the ceilings, balls of dust... Everything. Realizing that she'd never actually taken the time to admire the place, in all its dark forebodingness, Bella decided to pay close attention to the details of everything. She had never before realized that the walls were really a very, very dark green, and not black like she had thought they were... The little bits of light every now and then highlighted the cracks in the ceilings, giving her the feeling that they could, at any moment should they choose to, come crashing down. The manor was in dis repair, she would have to get some of the house elves to fix the place up.
Bellatrix caught sight of a statue- one of which was still fully intact, she wondered slightly, thinking why she hadn't blown it up yet, the thing was hideous. Drawing her wand, she smiled evilly at the thing before screaming "Confringo!" Immediately, the statue exploded, little pieces flying everywhere. She was smart enough to duck out of the way so that none of the shards would hit her, she gave an evil cackle as the remains of the statue were over the floor. Well she had always told her father that it was hideous and one of these days she was going to blow it up.
She turned round at the sound of her daughter's voice. "Not stressed.. just worried." Oh great now she was going soft, She didn't know she even had such an ability to be nice, well the only people she was remotely nice to were her family. She went over to her daughter and hugged Demi, "I know that look... Don't you worry about anything." She would do anything for her children. She hated to think that they were worried about anything. Bellatrix would track her husband down herself if she had to just so she could put her own mind and Demeter's mind at rest. She held her daughter at arms length, giving her a small smile "I promise that everything is going be okay. You know you can talk to me about anything."

"Mom, as much as I know you want to be able to tell me that everything is going to be okay but you can't promise that. Usually dad contacts us every two days we haven't heard from him in about a month." She was worried, she couldn't help but worry she was terrified that she was going to lose her parents again. She didn't think that she could cope if she did lose them - not again.
She glanced at her mom, she knew that she was worried too but she didn't want her mom to feel any worse than what she already did. "Natalie said they were organizing a party, you should go." She said with a small smile. "It'll take your mind off everything and you can boss people around."
