Breakfast (Open)

It was a few days into the first term, Kelly was up early as usual. She tied her long brown hair up in a loose bobble as she made her way into the great hall, Her heels making a noise on the floor as she walked. She sighed as she looked at her time table. "Urgh, this is going to suck." Divination first lesson, granted it didn't start for another two hours but she hated Divination - it was all guess work.

She sat down at the ravenclaw table. Her owl would be here soon with the daily prophet. She didn't know why she bothered, all the news in there was depressing but she needed to know what was going on out there. Looking up at the staff table she noticed a few of the teachers looking at her with grave looks on their faces - or at least she thought they were looking at her, they were at least looking in her direction. "What is going on...." she muttered to herself, something wasn't right.

Demeter was not a morning person, she hated mornings. She was used to sleeping in, since she had come back to Hogwarts she had to wake up early which was just bloody annoying. She had woke up feeling something sat on her feet, it had turned out to be one of the other girls cat. "Get off." She had snapped before giving it a good kick off her. She glanced at the clock, she groaned "Too early." it was 6 o'clock. She never woke up this early. Unfortuately once she was awake - she couldn't get back to sleep. 'Stupid cat' She thought to herself as she pulled herself out of bed. She got dressed and pulled a brush though her hair, straight as always.

She headed to the great hall, she needed something to eat and something to wake her up. She was surprised to see some people up already. "How can people get up this early - its just not normal." She muttered before she sat that the slytherin table. She grabbed some pumpkin juice and took a sip. Desperately trying to not fall asleep, because if she did then her head would hit the table with a bang like Damian had done a few mornings ago.
