Studying for her O.W.L.s, is Cory’s only current and main event. She knows she has to work hard if she wants to get the best N.E.W.T. classes, and she isn’t going to let anything stand in her way. She also has been studying up on the Dark Arts more and more, being taught by her father, her uncle, and aunt in the ways. She also has been taking dueling lessons, and duels against other Slytherins every chance she gets.

History::
Coryn Ophelia Lestrange was born in London, England on 19 July, 1982 to Rabastian and Cassandra Lestrange. Her father is a member of the House of Lestrange, one of the few pure-blood families left, and her mother is a member of the Selwyn Family, a family with the same status. Both sides of her families have had Death Eaters in it, as they are both major pure-blooded family trees. Coryn takes great pride in her family heritage, and is a strong supporter of blood purity. She is the only child of the couple, and they take great pride in that as Cassandra was injured before Cory was born and she was thought never to have children. Cory is their miracle child, and they love her more than she or they could possibly comprehend. Coryn is Greek for ‘maiden‘, and how she got that name she‘ll never know. She hates being called by her real name, and typically prefers to be called ‘Cory’. If anyone, except parents and family, calls her Coryn, they are usually cursed or hexed. Ophelia, her middle name comes from that of Hamlet, and is the name of her maternal grandmother.
Cory grew up in Lestrange Mansion, her father’s childhood home, being raised singly by her mother, as her father was in Azkaban at the time for aiding and assisting in the torture of Frank and Alice Longbottom. She was only a few months old at the time when her father was sent to prison and she grew up without knowing him. But she heard the stories from her Grandmum and her mother, about how great he was, along with her uncle Rodolphus and aunt Bellatrix. She was raised with the usual pure-blood family traditions and ideologies that pure-bloods were supreme and Half & Muggle-bloods were inferior and should be eliminated. She followed this rule very closely, hoping to please her mother and the rest of the family, which she did.
The day she received her Hogwarts letter was the greatest day in her entire life. She couldn’t wait to go to Hogwarts. She hated being cooped up in the mansion, and she was relieved that she could finally get out. 1 September was very emotional for both mother and daughter. Cassie couldn’t believe that her little girl was growing up so fast, and Cory had start to have second thoughts, wondering if she could really leave her mother behind all alone. She had been alone since Rabastian went to prison, and Cory didn’t know if she could do that to her mother… But Cory did go, and on the Hogwarts Express, the 11-year-old met her 14-year-old twin cousins, Demeter and Damian Lestrange. She really didn’t know them much, as they were raised by the Malfoys. The Sorting Ceremony went really well though. Despite staying under the hat for what seemed like hours, it had decided ultimately on Slytherin, the other greatest choice being Ravenclaw.
Cory grew up in and out of the castle, like any other child, though she did prefer home a bit more. There she could actually learn about the Dark Arts, instead of defensive-type stuff. But that was the class in which she outshined everybody in her year, because of her knowledge. Professor Flitwick kept on asking her why she wasn’t in Ravenclaw, but Cory just shrugged. It was in her second year that she finally got to meet her father, Rabastian Lestrange. After not knowing him for twelve years then having him come home at Christmas Holidays was a shock for Cory. He had escaped Azkaban, he was on the run, he was a convicted Death Eater… but Cory could care less, she had her dad back and that was all that mattered.
Entering her fifth year currently, Cory hasn’t been made prefect, despite her outstanding grades, and great record for being good at school, though there were certain times where she could be causing some mischief or torturing the Mud-bloods. She hasn’t wanted to risk anything, but the day her fifth year letter came to the Mansion, Cory couldn’t find the badge and after realizing she hadn’t made the cut, ended up breaking everything in the house and her own room. She thought and knew it was because she was a Lestrange, and she couldn’t be trusted at all. Sure, she tolerated the unworthy Mud-bloods and Half-Bloods, but still as a Slytherin, and like the rest of her family, she loathed them and bullied them, especially the younger ones, every chance she got.
Personality::
Cory holds the dark demeanor that all of her family holds. She is very ambitious as she is always wanting to get to the top, cunning, witty, and very sarcastic, with a determined nature and sometimes disregards the rules (which is also why she probably didn‘t make prefect too…). She is also very stubborn, and loves to get her way, which she does through any means necessary. She is very inward, keeping a small deal to herself, but can open up. But even though she is a bit shy, Cory has no trouble whatsoever making friends, though she hardly ever does so, except for with new Slytherins. Because she is very quiet, Cory often finds herself the keeper of other’s secrets, even her own family’s. She hates this and often tries to stop someone before they tell her too much information. But Cory does have a good-natured heart, despite her upbringings and tries to remain loyal to everyone.
Cory is the youngest Lestrange, and often finds herself being bullied by her older cousin Damian. She really doesn’t mind though because she does hold close family relationships with all members of her family. She seems to take on the ‘punching bag’ role, but that’s for Demeter and Damian only. If anyone else tries to cross her, they’ll get an instant trip to the Hospital Wing within two-three seconds. She isn’t shy with her wand, though she is shy herself. She seems to have a great skill in dueling, much like her aunt and cousin, though she isn’t as talented as them just yet.
Cory’s smarts are what define her and make her popular with the teachers. She is very intelligent, which is why the Sorting Hat considered putting her into Ravenclaw. She spends most of her time studying when she isn’t with her friends or out at Hogsmeade. Also her clumsiness, which she inherited from her mother it seems, is her other standout trademark around school. She avoids sports and contact thing, but can always manage to trip over an innocent rock. She’s also known as a damsel in distress because of it.

Description::
Though only fifteen, Cory has the image of someone a bit older than her. She takes after her father mostly in looks, before he went to Azkaban, and has thick flowing, medium-length, light auburn brown hair. It’s her pride and joy, and Cory takes very good care of it. Sometimes, she’ll even dye it a darker shade of auburn red, but that doesn’t happen very often. She has a slight olive complexion about her, though she is pale for the most part. She can never tan, and only burns when she is out in the sunlight. Her eyes are a bright green-blue color, something, and probably the only thing, she inherited from her mother.
Her build is very skinny and slightly athletic, though she never does any sports, and she hates eating healthy. She figures it’s because of her metabolism and the walks up and down the stairs of Hogwarts. That can give anybody a good exercise

Helena Lestrange sighed as she looked at her half-packed Hogwarts trunk walking into her large, penthouse like room. Clothes were strewn everywhere as she had struggled to find her favorite pair of shoes in her other trunk. Of course, they weren't there. She had gotten back from Scotland with Teddy and Victoire. Suddenly a mental hand slapped her in the head as she remembered she let Victoire borrow them. Well, whatever... I'll ask James if he could get them back for me... she thought to herself, becoming a bit more frustrated with the mess in her room as she walked through it.
She went to the desk and took her quill and a piece of parchment. Luckily, her owl was asleep, instead of hunting, so he could make the delivery. She wrote down a quick note asking if he could get her shoes, then kissed it as she sealed it up into a letter form. She tied it to the owls leg and sent him off.
Now for the packing... Nellie walked back over to the bed, picking up some of the clothes on the floor, folding them to put in the trunk. A slip of paper fell out. Nellie picked it up reading it. It was a renewal form for Hogsmeade. Great... she thought, Mum couldn't and wouldn't sign it. Not if she wanted to be caught. "Looks like it's time for another visit to Aunt Andromeda..." she muttered, setting the parchment on her desk. She resumed folding her clothes, making sure this went with this and that with that. Nellie was very organized and coordinated when it came to her clothing
