It was a habit that started from the year before. Ever since then, Draco had not been able to sleep well. In fact, he had hardly slept at all. His eyes were open at the crack of dawn, and he just lay there, thinking, until it was time for normal people to wake up. Usually he waited until everyone in his dormitory left so that he could have some peace and privacy. It was the same this morning too. After changing, Draco found himself dawdling slowly towards the Great Hall. He didn't want to arrive when everyone was eating - it was always better to come later. Or so he thought.
Reaching the Great Hall, Draco found that this day was, in fact, not like any other. There were already wands out, although Demetria was prone to getting into trouble whenever she could, seeing as the last year of education didn't matter to her. Nor did it matter to Draco much. He entered the Great Hall just in time to see the famous Potter sitting down and Malayna walking away. "Having fun with the blood traitors, Demetria?" he smirked, shooting the Weasleys a death glare. "Watch out, Potter, you could get hexed in your next class."

Dani watched Ginny, Hermione, and Ron argue with Demetria. She was shocked to see another Slytherin girl walk in and try to break up the fight. She watched as Malfoy walked in. She hated him with every fiber of her being because he was so self gratifying and very much conceited. "I don't know what your fascination is with picking on these three but I'm pretty sure hexing other people isn't allowed in classes. So what, if they aren't pureblood like you! That shouldn't matter. Since I'm in the same year as the trio, I've gotten to know them as nice people, pureblood or not! So, take your discriminatory remarks to the Slytherin table where they belong!" she said nearly drawing her wand. She hadn't been provoked but they were her friends and she wouldn't just stand here and let them be insulted even though they seemed to be handling it well on their on, coming up with a few comebacks here and there.

Demetria was stubborn, she didn't like been told what to do and she hadn't quite finished her little argument with the mudblood and bloodtraitors. She rolled her eyes as 'the chosen one' showed up and sat down next to Ginny. "How sentimental... come to defend your girlfriend?" She laughed "Well I hope you do better than what you did when you tried to help Sirius Black... how is that good for nothing second cousin of mine?.... Recovered yet?" She was very disappointed when she found out that her mother hadn't killed him.
"Mala come on, I'm only having a little fun." She said with a grin, she shook her head slightly as Malayna went to go sit at the slytherin table. "Always have fun messing with Mudbloods, they need to be taught their place so why not make a game out of it?" She questioned with a twisted smile, but Draco knew how sick her humor was, he had grown up with her. "Or I could hex you before class which ever works...." Another little scheme already planning itself out in her head, well she might as well spend her last year at hogwarts doing something useful - causing as much trouble as she could.
"Blah Blah.... blah." She muttered as Daniella Rookward butted in. "I didn't ask your opinion Rookward, and I don't want an opinion from a filthy halfblood.... and I don't follow the rules here... I take pride in breaking them."

Dani's fingers curled around her wand sitting in her pocket. She rolled her eyes as she mentioned that muggleborns need to be taught their place. She was so sick of all the discrimination that wen on at Hogwarts. It made her want to attend a different school like Beauxbatons. Even though it was a French school and she knew the French tended to be a little snobby at least she wouldn't have to deal with house rivarly. But, her father insisted on sending her to Hogwarts and her mother didn't want to overrule him no matter how much she hated him. "I wasn't talking directly to you, Lestrange. I was talking to your concieted cousin Draco." she said gesturing to Malfoy. "However, you really shouldn't bully people all the time. These people did nothing to you and you have no right to bully them just for existing. Why should being pureblooded matter, anyway?" she asked.

((OOC: i decided to join. i love drama in rps lol...)) Lesley had woken pretty early. Earlier than what she has been waking up all week. Lesley stuck her tongue out at the sight of the time. She wasn’t excited about today, she knew something bad was going to happen. Lesley looked at the beds in the dorm room and sighed. Everyone was awake. She walked over to her trunk and pulled on her Gryffindor uniform. She walked over to a mirror and put her hair into a pony tail.
Lesley walked out of the dorm room and the common room to the great hall. She saw students everywhere flooding in for breakfast. She walked into the great hall and stopped. “oi,” She sighed to herself as she saw Draco and Demetria talking to Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny. As much as she wanted to avoid them, she knew she couldn’t.
Lesley walked past Draco, Demetria, and Daniella and sat down next to Hermione. “mind if I join you?” Lesley asked smiling. She was happy she made friends with Hermione, and she wouldn’t mind making more friends. She was ignoring the slytherins, not really caring about them.

'' No not at all, Piss off Malfoy.'' Harry said rolling his eyes as he caressed Ginny's hand under the table trying to be as discreet about things as possible considering he was aware that Ron didn't much like the idea of him dating his little sister the only thing was that he'd loved Ginny ever since he could remember, yes he had a small thing with Cho in his fifth year but that was just a kiss that to him meant nothing because he'd wanted to be kissing Ginny not Cho. He still hated Draco he always would, nothing would ever change that because it'd been obvious they were meant to be enemies from day one so as long as they were both alive they would hate eachother.
Shaking his head Harry felt he'd lost his appetite watching Ron eat it was disgusting, there for he felt rather ill but he didn't unlace his fingers with Ginny's so what it was Public display of affection he didn't care as long as they kept things discreet nothing bad would happen. He loved her, would shout it from the highest mountain at the top of his lungs just as long as everyone knew how much he loved her. Harry just wished he could get Ron&Hermione together because it was driving him made to see them fighting with eachother, he had run out of ideas mainly because he'd promised to mind his own business which was easier said then done they were his friends.

"Isn't there some guy you haven't got evil claws into yet?" Ginny asked Demetria coldly. "How long did the last one last?..... a week?" Everyone knew Demetria only ever stayed with one guy a few days then as soon as he mentioned that she was 'his girlfriend' she would bail and move on to the next one, Demetria called it friends with benefits, Ginny just thought it was disgusting, Why sleep with that many guys?
If Harry hadn't have been holding her hand, then Ginny would have hexed the wicked witch of the west already. "Sirius is a decent guy, your nothing compared to him. He's ashamed that he's related to someone like you." Ginny would have disowned herself if she was closely related to any Lestrange.

"I wasn't talking directly to you, Lestrange. I was talking to your conceited cousin Draco."
At the mention of his name, Draco turned and set eyes on someone he had not yet noticed. Daniella Rookward, Ravenclaw. And most certainly not Pureblooded. "Oh I'm so sorry, Rookward," he sneered sarcastically, "I just didn't believe that Purebloods should associate with the likes of...you. So get your ugly face out of my sight." Smirking sinisterly, he turned back to face the Trio in time to see Harry hold Ginny's hand.
'Potter!" Draco snapped, "How can you stand to touch that filthy blood traitor?" How anyone could stand just to be around the Weasleys and the Mudloods, he had no idea. Stupid Potter, famous because of a stupid scar...
Glaring at Ginny, his hand immediately shot into his pocket and clasped around his wand. Pointing it towards her, Draco gathered up the first few incantations in his mind, ready to cast any spells. "Don't talk to my cousin like that, Weasley," he sneered, gripping tighter around the wand. Nobody, nobody could talk to his family and get away with it.

''Put it away Draco.''[/b] Zachary said as he walked into the great hall once again he'd been up all night studying so he'd slept in, ironically he wasn't in the greatest of moods either yes he was a gryffindor he had been since his 1st year so there for like the rest of his house he hated Draco Malfoy or any slytherin for that matter. When Zach was in a bad mood it was a good idea to just leave him or anyone in his house alone, he knew very well that Draco wasn't afraid of him but he didn't care he could duel with the best of them. He may have been a seventh year slytherin but because of his birthday not to mention his marks he could have actually graduated with Fred, George Weasley but instead he chose to stay behind in order to finish his studies the correct way so he graduated with his house mates plus Draco who he secretly wanted to curse with the worst of the curses for picking on him so many years ago.

When it came to family Isabella was fiercely loyal. She didn't like the reputation that Demetria had but when someone insulted her about it, Isabella wasn't just going to sit back as let it happen. "Watch your mouth Weasley... so far they've been civil." So Isabella didn't agree with the things that Demi, Damian and Draco did. She was just damn good at pretending she did, Isabella didn't like Mudbloods but she didn't think they should be treated any differently because of who they were.
"Can't talk now can you?" She questioned "Last I heard you were making your way round the gyffindor guys... having all the guys fighting over you. That must be a damn good love potion." Isabella could act like a bitch when she wanted to.

"Take a hike Malfoy! I'm not scared of you.... to us you'll always be the bouncing little ferret." When Draco went for his wand Ginny pulled her own out, she wasn't just going to sit there while someone had their wand pointed at her now was she? She had a few hexes up her sleeve, and Hermione had helped her on non verbal spells so he wouldn't get a warning when she chose to use one of them. Granted she didn't think her odds were that great but she wasn't going down without a fight.
"If your going to try and hex me then I suggest you do it. Or can't you even hex a 6th year anymore?" She was pushing her luck, she knew it. If Draco didn't hex her then Demetria would. She wasn't shy when it came to dueling.

Demetria pulled her wand out and pointed it at Ginny, no one talked to her like that, especially not a filthy blood traitor. "Dating the 'chosen one' made you foolish, no one talks to me like that!" It was still early, there was no teachers around yet and the few students that were around posed no other threat. "Its about time you showed some respect to your superiors." She smiled "Crucio!" Her aim was deadly accurate and it was by far her favorite curse, you had to really mean it, to really want to cause pain and right now she was murderous.

Daniella rolled her eyes at Draco's sarcasm. She knew he didn't mean it and there was no point in fighting with him no matter how infuriating he was. She just watched everything going on and gasped when she heard Demetria utter the cruciatus curse, one of the unforgiveable curses. She knew it was illegal to do them in school much less perform them on another student. "Ginny, get out of the way!!" she called not wanting to listen to the screaming about to commence.

Brooklyn woke up pretty early but she just sat on her bed and finished some last minute homework for Transfigurations, she hated non-verbal spells and she was having difficulty with some of them. She needed help and she knew she didn’t know Hermione personally but she was going to ask her help because she knew that Hermione would probably be the only person that could help her. Brooklyn took a shower and straightened her hair and through on a pair of black hip huggers, a black Paramore shirt and combat boots and left the Gryffindor tower.
Brooklyn thought she would eat some breakfast before going to find Hermione so she headed toward the great hall. Brooklyn stopped when she walked through the great hall doors, Demetria was shooting a spell at Ginny and everyone else was pointing their wands at her fellow Gryffindor’s , so Brooklyn walked up the isle very quietly almost ninja like and when she was about four metres away she pointed her wand at Demetria’s back and said “Levicorpus.” Brooklyn knew that Slytherin’s were unfair fighters so she thought she would use their own medicine against them.

Post by Ron Weasley on Aug 20, 2009 17:11:18 GMT -1
Ron was totally shocked at all that had just happened. It started with a small fight with just three people against one Slytherin which wasn't so bad... but, then more Slytherins came and more Gryffindors and other random people from other houses. It seemed as if there was more people on the Gryffindors side then the Slytherins which was defiantly a plus. But, he was by now lost as he stared around at everyone wand still out in front of him as he gulped a bit. He was glad that Harry had finally showed up now and he turned to give him a grin but made sure to watch every single Slytherin closely. But, it was kind of hard seeing as there was plenty more now. His main focus was more so on Malfoy now... that was until he heard the crucio curse and realized where it was pointed toward at his sister...
He gasped and let out a yell. " Ginny!" he said attempting to pull his younger sister to him. Letting his wand drop to his side for a brief moment before quickly turning his wand at Demetria about to curse her but realized someone else had already done so. His face was by now bright red... she could be expelled for that or even worse that was a forbidden curse!

Post by Bianca Matthews on Aug 20, 2009 19:55:57 GMT -1
It was about toofrickin'early o'clock for Bianca to even consider being awake. Bianca was irritable a person enough as it was and being up so early in the morning would only make it worse. She had odd sleeping habits, could only sleep for a few hours at a time -- that could possibly attribute to the 'irritable' bit -- but it was not all the time she was awake with no specific reason, this early in the morning. Now that she was awake, though, sleep would not come till later. Late later. And once awake, she could not fall back asleep. So she tossed on a shirt, jeans, sneakers -- Converse, the creator Bianca believed had to be pureblood to design something so amazing(and if not, she didn't want to know) -- and loudly made her way out of the girl's dorm. If she could not be sleeping in her comfortable four poster, no one else should have the luxury either.
Yawning, she made her way through the corridors, shoes scuffing on the floor as she walked. The only place she could think to go was the Great Hall. She could sit down, try to eat -- breakfast really wasnt for her -- and plan out the rest of her morning. Then, of course, not go along with those plans. Unless they involved pain; those plans could could be kept.
Perhaps no one would be there. Well, Bianca had hoped for too much, because there were. But she actually would not mind at this moment. What she heard as she entered the expansive room was an argument a curse being called out, that forbidden curse calling her attention while she vaguely heard the other. It was against a Gryffindor, and a blood traitor at that! That shrew, Weasley girl. This Bianca needed to see.. and participate if need be. By her count, there were four Slytherins. The others were from various houses, and Bianca was not liking the fact that her house was out numbered. Sure, Slytherins could handle their own -- especially these particular Slytherins standing in front of her -- but it was the 'sticking together' thing. Slytherin as a house was virtually on its own.
"Oh," she breathed, sidling up to her side of the group. "A riot. How absolutely lovely," she finished almost happily, eyeing and enjoying the distress already caused.
OOC; hope no one minds my crashing the party. xD

Demi never fought fair, never had. Though she didn't like it when the tables were turned - she didn't like to lose, she was very competitive. The curse only missed Ginny by millimeters thanks to Ron playing hero and pulling her out of harms way, what was it with gryffindors and spoiling her fun! She was about to cast yet another curse when Brooklyn hexed her and Demetria found herself hanging upside down by her ankles. "Your going to pay that this McNight!" She landed on the floor with a thud with the counter curse.
She pulled herself out the floor, pulling a face. She was in an even worse mood than what she was earlier. "Now that wasn't very nice... I was being civil." well she had missed hadn't she? but next time she wouldn't. "And people say I don't fight fair.."

Brooklyn looked at Demi when she hit the floor and stepped up on the bench keeping her wand pointed at the Slytherin’s as she walked across the bench to join her house on the other side and jumped down beside Hermione, “Ah it may have been unfair but it wasn’t it nice to taste your own medicine?” Brooklyn said with a cocky attitude. Brooklyn knew she would pay for what she just did but she also knew that it was well worth it, “And I will probably pay for it, 6 of you douche bags and only me but again I am always up for a challenge.” Brooklyn said keeping her wand pointed right at Demi’s chest; she knew that her attitude at this moment sucked kind of like a Slytherin but that needed to see how they acted. “Oh and civil, Do you know what the definition of Civil is? How about this, instead of being a bitch go open up a book and get an education.” Brooklyn laughed still watching Demi and the other Slytherin’s out of the corner of her eye.

Not only had the spell missed, some lowly Gryffindor girl had hit Demi from behind with a curse. It was one that Draco recognized, but couldn't recall the name. Although no harm seem to have been done, there was still the pride of Slytherin (and the Dark Lord, and their pure-blooded families) to consider. They were outnumbered, but as Bianca joined them, he was confident that they would win.
“Oh and civil, Do you know what the definition of civil is? How about this, instead of being a bitch go open up a book and get an education.”
That was one step too far. Nobody insulted any member of his family (unless it was a blood traitor). Combing his mind of a good-enough spell, Draco raised his wand. "Sectumsempra!" he smirked. If Demi was going to get expelled, he might as well play along with it. And that spell definitely gave the girl punishment that she deserved.

Isabella could sense her cousin's mood and knew it could change in a matter of seconds. Demi's mood was horrible and having to grow up with her for the last god knows how many years she knew when to duck. "Demi..." She said carefully "your going to get yourself expelled." Not that Demi cared, everyone knew at this moment in time Demetria Lestrange didn't care that much for her education, she didn't want to be here and expelling her would only be doing her a favor. It was more punishing to Demi to keep her there.
"Just leave them... there's no harm done. She was just lucky..." She said coolly, What was the odds that the curse had missed the bloodtraitor by millimeters? and it wasn't everyday that gryffindors started to play dirty as well. Isabella was going to go over to the slytherin table and leave them all to their argument when she heard Draco's curse, things really was going to turn nasty.
